There is no magic number

There isn’t a magic number for anything. The only reason something is “normally” done a certain way is because someone before you made it like that. Normally, if they continued to do it, this probably means that it came with a certain level of success, however, I believe that it’s worth questioning why.

If there’s evidence (research study or anecdotal) then that’s a good reason. It’s worth trying something different. The worst case scenario is that it doesn’t work so then you don’t try that again.

The best case scenario however is that it works great and you now have another option or a new standard.

Options are good, testing is good.
